I started my therapy journey with Jennifer over a year ago. When I met her, I had no idea how to control my emotions and reactions to certain situations and had a very low self-esteem. I can truly say that working with Jennifer weekly has instilled a new senseof confidence and self-awareness that I have never experienced before. She has helped me tremendously with my thought patterns, understanding and advocating for myselfas well as growing in my interpersonal relationships. Her exercises and treatment implementation is spot on for every season. Although life will always throw hurdles, going to Jennifer has helped me understand that I am capable of overcoming them. Jennifer has provided a safe place for me to be completely myself and love who that is.

“I've always wanted to start therapy but always felt apprehensive about it . Until one day I went to therapyforblackgirls.com. Choosing a therapist that was not only African American but a bonus that she is of Caribbean decent so in many aspects she was relatable. I've always believed everyone should be required to at least have some therapy session at some point during their lifetime but now I'm even more pro-mental health therapy.
